I’m 28, a REALTOR (yes, that’s how they want us to write it), and a millennial just like you. I have been a consultant to over 25 buyers and sellers so far in 2015 and many more in the past 4 years of my career. I have seen the range of inventory from small cost-efficient condominiums to the most extravagant custom single family homes that you could imagine. But, you are probably wondering what is best for you, a condo or a home? Let’s see it side-by-side:

So,which is better?

If you are on-the-go, focused on fun and want minimal maintenance responsibilities, then a Condo might be the best choice. The most common demographics I have seen in the condo market are young professionals and empty nesters; they want to be living in a place that provides a home without too many headaches. If you are more settled, into DIY, or like having space and privacy, then I would recommend a single family home. At the end of the day, you can say that property is yours and you can do (almost) whatever you want with it!

Hopefully this helped answer those questions. Now it is time for you to identify a good agent to further assess your wants and needs and work with them to find the perfect place to find home. Thanks for reading everyone - high five!
